DM Round Chainring
Our new one-piece Round Direct Mount chainrings are machine CNC’d from single blocks of ultralight aeronautic-grade 7075 aluminum and can be mounted straight onto the axle or crank arm. With fewer individual parts we’ve shaved precious grams off the component weight and focused on delivering you ease of assembly and maintenance. The integrated configuration means a simplified lightweight solution without compromising on durability.
The clever spline interface between the Direct Mount and the axle delivers a robust yet smooth engagement allowing you to maximise the efficiency in transmission of power in your pedal rotation. This advanced solution is achieved thanks to the patented anchoring system of our Optimal Changing Position (OCP) Mount technology. The unique design of the teeth incorporates all the experience gained in the technological development of oval Q Rings and provides a consistently fast and precise gear shift in the most challenging of cycling conditions.

Why Q-rings? Biomechanical studies indicate that the effort made with Q-Rings becomes a greater performance and pedaling feeling
more rounded and smooth due to their ability to make a better use of the strongest muscle groups while they also compensate the dead spot in pedaling. Q-Ring-Round Ring Comparison Far from feeling unusual, a Q-Ring feels much rounder than a round ring.

compact size chainring diameter. This variation creates the “perfect spin” we all aspire to, that simply isn’t possible with round chainrings.
