Bicycle dropper posts, also known as adjustable seat posts, are an innovative technology that is becoming increasingly important, particularly in mountain biking. They allow the rider to adjust the saddle height during the ride at the push of a button, without having to dismount. This brings numerous advantages, both technically and in terms of safety.

The main benefit of a dropper post lies in the improved control and freedom of movement it offers the rider. On technical descents or steep terrain, the saddle can be lowered, which lowers the rider’s center of gravity and makes the bike easier to maneuver.
