The Campagnolo Chorus road groupset consists of top grade components.
Function-wise the Chorus is almost on par with the Campagnolo Record group, but the finish and the weight saving isn't as carried to the extreme. This results in a more economic pricing which makes the Campagnolo Chorus components ideal for 11-speed beginners.
The group consists of the following parts: shift/brake levers, crankset, rear derailleur, cassette sprockets, chain, front derailleur and brakes.
The ergononomics of the shift/brake levers offer a comfortable and safe riding experience while providing efficient shifting and superb braking. Surprisingly the Chorus levers don't come with a weight penalty over the Record shift/brake levers: both are claimed to weigh only 337 g.
The cranks of the Chorus group however weight a bit more, but make no comprise in terms of durability. Their Ultra-Torque technology offers efficient power transfer and the dedicated chainring fixation system eases maintenance while saving weight.
Precision and performance of the rear derailleur is on the same level as the Record groups.
The cassette sprockets of the Campagnolo Chorus road groupset feature a special cog design for an unobtrusive drivetrain noise and fast and accurate shifting.
