The Campagnolo Veloce group was one of the more affordable groups from the Italian premium manufacturer Campagnolo and was primarily aimed at ambitious recreational and hobby cyclists. Although it is no longer in production, it was a popular choice for many cyclists who valued typical Campagnolo qualities such as durability, precision, and aesthetics but did not want to pay the price of top models like Record or Chorus. The Veloce group offered a good balance of performance and affordability and was used in both road racing and touring.

A key component of the Veloce group was the shifting system. The front derailleur and the rear derailleur worked precisely and reliably, although they were slightly heavier compared to the high-end models. Campagnolo's proven shifting technology with the ErgoPower shifters ensured fast and smooth gear changes. Unlike many competing products, Campagnolo always offered a thumb shifter design that met the ergonomic needs of many riders.

The Veloce group's crankset was usually made of aluminum, offering a good balance between stability and weight. It is particularly noteworthy that Campagnolo always placed great emphasis on the aesthetics of its products— the Veloce crankset also stood out with its classic, elegant design, typical of Campagnolo. Combined with the cassette, it offered clean and efficient power transmission.

The group also included the brakes, which were known for their reliable braking power and modulation. Even during long descents or under more demanding conditions, they performed impressively, which many riders appreciated.

The Veloce group combined high-quality materials and craftsmanship with an affordable price, providing a wide range of cyclists access to Campagnolo's legendary engineering and Italian design.
