Order Bicycle Shock Absorbers Affordably at the Online Bike Shop of starbike.com

When riding off-road as a mountain biker, a rear shock absorber is a comfortable bike component. This part is connected to the movable rear triangle of the bicycle frame. Either directly or through a rocker link, the shock absorber is connected to the frame, effectively absorbing shocks. The result is increased riding comfort: vibrations are reduced, and the rear wheel maintains better contact with uneven terrain.

Bicycle shock absorbers are distinguished by two construction features. Coil shock absorbers are known for their smooth responsiveness and robust build, while air shocks are lighter and can be optimally adjusted to the rider’s weight. As with all bike parts, there are significant differences in the quality and functionality of rear shocks. The more you invest, the more performance the shock offers, along with greater adjustment options such as adjustable compression and rebound, or a remote lockout for the handlebar.

We offer rear shock absorbers from the following manufacturers: DT Swiss and Manitou.
