The new Crossmax Carbon XL R has what it takes to be your reliable partner for all trail explorations. When it comes to carbon MTB wheels, there is such a thing as too much stiffness. That's why the Crossmax Carbon XL R rim was designed with a low-profile design and a special carbon layup that creates just enough vertical compliance to deliver smooth riding qualities without compromising your ability to climb and corner with efficiency and precision. The rims have an asymmetrical shape and are 30mm wide to optimize the performance of any modern trail tire.

We rely on 24 straight spokes each to further optimize the "sweet spot" between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. The Infinity hubs feature a stiffer and lighter construction and are complemented by the ultra-reliable Instant Drive 360 freewheel with two toothed pulleys for fast traction. Weighing just 1590g, it's a wheel that will make you forget about the trail and find your flow. It is available with Centerlock- brake disc mounts and compatible with Shimano Microspline freewheel bodies. The Crossmax XL R is available in 29" version and comes with UST tubeless valves, spare spokes and accessories.
