Campagnolo is an Italian manufacturer of bicycle components, founded in 1933 by Tullio Campagnolo. The company has secured a firm place in the history of cycling through its innovation and top-quality products. Campagnolo is known for developing components that provide top performance in both competitive and recreational cycling.
Among the most well-known products from Campagnolo are the groupsets, such as Super Record, Record, and Chorus. These high-end groupsets are renowned for their precise shifting performance and durability. They feature lightweight materials like carbon and titanium, which lead to weight reduction and performance improvement.
Another highlight is Campagnolo's range of wheelsets. The Bora Ultra and Bora One series offer aerodynamics and stiffness for road racing. These wheels are made of carbon and are known for their excellent efficiency and speed.
Campagnolo also produces hydraulic disc brakes, known under the names H11 and Ekar. These brakes provide excellent braking power and modulation, which is particularly advantageous during demanding descents.
With a strong focus on research and development, Campagnolo has brought numerous innovations to the cycling world, including the quick-release system for wheels and the first parallelogram-shaped derailleur. Campagnolo remains synonymous with quality, innovation, and performance in cycling.
