The 14L Terrapin System is a modular, waterproof saddle bag with a removable dry bag that allows for easy packing off the bike. Approaching a decade since its initial design, this generation of the Terrapin has received improvements in stability, ease of use, and durability.

The 14L Terrapin System shares the same features as the award-winning 8L Terrapin System and features Revelate’s exclusive Indie-Rail attachment system. The Indie-Rail System is an evolution of traditional bike bag attachments where the rail straps attach at the top center of the bag. With Indie-Rail, each saddle rail is tightly cinched to the sides of the bag. This virtually eliminates side-to-side bag sway without the need for external hardware. This is combined with a rigid internal structure and active cam buckles to prevent strap slippage on rough terrain.

The Terrapin features an external plastic bottom sheet that acts as a fender to protect the bottom of the dry sack from kicked-up debris. The composite internal top sheet, stiffened on all sides, provides a solid and stable platform for the webbing attachment points and transfers vertical load to the seat post connection. An external webbing and loop system accommodates a bungee and provides additional, easily accessible external storage.

• Minimum 8.5” (21.6 cm) of tire clearance required from saddle rails to top of tire.
• This product is not intended for use with dropper posts.
• This bag is intended to carry soft, compressible items. Pad hard-edged items such as cookware adequately to prevent premature wear.
• It is imperative to check tire clearance before use, especially on full-suspension bicycles. Bag contact with the tire can result in a serious accident.
