- The Crossmax Carbon SL R 29 is your wheel when it comes to high-intensity cross-country use. This wheel was designed for modern XC riding and racing. The full carbon rims provide lightning acceleration and help you float up technical climbs. To that end, they have just enough vertical compliance to help you ride any line you want with precision and control. Their carbon topsheet gets our new UD² finish for an exclusive look AND even greater durability.
The 25mm inner width is designed to work in harmony with any modern XC tire. The rim is spoked with 24 straight double-thickness spokes to achieve a perfect balance between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. For this we have developed the lighter Infinity hubs, which in combination with the rim stiffness and strategic lacing maximize your pedal forces for superior power transmission.
Our Instant Drive 360 freewheel with two toothed pulleys provides fast traction so you can sprint faster and pedal out of corners. The HR hub is compatible with Shimano Microspline freewheel bodies. The Crossmax SL R is available exclusively in 29". A 15x110 mm thru axle is used in front, a 12x148 mm thru axle in the rear. The wheel comes with valves, spare spokes and other accessories.
