With its hookless full carbon and tubeless ready rim, it is ready for high intensity, aggressive XC riding. The athletic, intricately machined hubshells are superlight while the tall rims have the inherent stiffness necessary to precisely hold a line, even when your vision is blurred. Together with the renowned DT Swiss build quality, the XRC 1200 SPLINE really sets the benchmark for going fast, whether it's between the tape or not.

Tubeless technology
All DT Swiss wheelsets are tubeless compatible and the ASM versions come tubeless ready, equipped with tubeless tape and valves.

Ratchet EXP
Updated DT Swiss Ratchet Hub design. Easier to maintain and service. Fast disassembly and easy to convert. Lighter than the previous version. Reduced wear and therefore increased reliability and lifetime.

Engagement Angle
In the development of an optimal freewheel system we believe that three factors have to be considered: reliability, weight and points of engagement. But you must bear in mind that there is a trade-off between all of these three dimensions. We still believe that a system with 36 points of engagement (10º) represents the best optimization within this three dimensional perspective in terms of reliability, weight and points of engagement.

Pro Lock
Pro Lock is a process where a patented, dual compound, adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel builds. By threading the nipple onto the spoke the adhesive is activated and starts to harden. Retruing the wheel is still possible after the adhesive has hardened completely, with only a minimal decrease of its thread-lock function.
