State-of-the-art simulation and testing procedures combined with the most exclusive fibre material from the aerospace industry allow for an unprecedented combination of weight, stiffness, stability and comfort.

It does not only play its strength uphill, its outstanding stiffness as well as superb handling make every descent a racy delight, wind tunnel proven aerodynamics and the award-winning comfort have proved a recipe for a possibly efficient, energy-consuming and lightning-swift performance on the flats - Ultra, the bike for every occasion!

If you don't go forwards you go backwards! For 2018 our VIAL evo Ultra has undergone further optimisations: Whilst keeping its positive properties such as the groundbreaking weight as well as the outstanding comfort and superb handling, at the same time some decisive details have undergone further refinements to offer you even more fun and riding pleasure.
Stiffness and stability are the absolute maxim of this thoroughbred racer.
Strategically placed reinforcements and tapered material thickness in key areas specifically target the demands of racers and stronger riders and boost the rider weight limit to a comfortable 120 kg.
All fatigue, endurance as well as overload or impact test are not able to cause the frame a twitch of an eye. We are testing our frames to international standards at the most well-renowned testing facilities, and on top far beyond any given standards.
The rear end has undergone further detail refinements for 2018 after the re-design of the chainstays last year. It has kept its asymmetrical shape which is largely responsible for its high stiffness. The seatstays are completely new and have slightly gown in their cross-section to further boost the lateral stiffness of the already super stiff rear end.
The brake bridge now has a much more two-dimensional shape and therewith allows for even harder braking maneuvers and an enhanced modulation to as well gain the eventually decisive gap downhill. The VIAL evo Ultra therewith also complies to the regulations of the UCI and can this be used in competition.
All of this makes the Ultra to an absolute Uber-bike for racers and all those that like to go hard and fast.
Ultra frameset Ceramic option
The VIAL evo ships with our own high-quality, double sealed ax ball bearings.
As an option the bearings of the headset as well as bottom bracket, can be upgraded to the top-quality CeramicSpeed Coated ceramic hybrid bearings which are specifically tailored to our frame by CeramicSpeed. CeramicSpeed is renowned as absolute Premium-solution on the market. We are the only manufacturer to equip their high-end "Coated" version as standard. Besides a significant increase in smoothness and therewith the saving of valuable Watt, the bearings also score with an improved weather-proofness and longevity as well as a reduction in weight.
