This gives the 858 NSW Carbon Tubeless Disc-Brake wheelset a tubeless and hookless rim profile for a seamless tire to rim transition and a huge weight reduction. The 858 NSW wheelset features Zipp's Carbon Internal Reinforcement (CiR), making the rim 10% lighter and just as strong as previous wheels. Because of this, the wheelset gives you the benefits of deep ZIPP rims at a weight normally associated with 20mm shallower rims.

The inner width of the wheel is 23 mm, ideal to run wider tires with lower pressure and thus reduce rolling resistance. And although this wheelset is optimized for tubeless tires, you still have the option to use tubeless tires with tubes. The 858 NSW is fastest with a 28mm tire. In triathlon, wider tubeless tires with lower air pressure are faster while providing a smoother ride so your body is fresher for the run.

The wavy, 82mm to 85mm deep rim shape of the 858 NSW, is Zipp's highest performance design for aeroefficiency and crosswind stability. In that way, TSE technology helps you overcome the four obstacles that stand in the way of top speed: Wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration losses.
