Zipp's 808 Firecrest tubeless disc wheelset is all about science to help you reach ever higher speeds. That's the perfect approach for Zipp's stiff, deep rim for criterium racing, road racing, or any type of racing where the flat is parts are dominant.

Zipp's Total System Efficiency (TSE) design approach gives the 808 Firecrest new features, including a huge weight reduction over the previous version, well over 280 grams. In addition, the wheel was designed with a hookless and tubeless rim profile and an internal width of 23 mm. This is ideal for running wider tires with lower pressure to improve rolling resistance and cornering grip.

TSE combats the four main obstacles to speed: air resistance, gravity, rolling resistance and vibration losses. Zipp's legendary Firecrest rim shape provides high aero efficiency and crosswind stability. Zipp's ABLC technology uses a complex dimpling pattern to improve aero efficiency. And although this wheelset is optimized for tubeless tires, you have the option to run tubeless or tubeless ready tires with tubes. The wheelset is fastest with a 28mm tire.

Disc brakes provide reliable speed control and stopping power in all weather conditions.
