Especially for speed enthusiats on flat terrain, the SQUAD 5.8 SL Clinchers are a perfect fit. The wheelset is UCI approved and combines the patented XBP braking surface and the Active Turbulator of XeNTiS on the same rim. The XBP braking surfaces show no wear and can also be ridden with standard brake pads. Below the braking surfaces extends the wave-shaped carbon layering of the Active Turbulator, which provides optimized aerodynamics. In order to be fast on climbs as well, XeNTiS uses the latest materials and processing technologies to reduce the weight to a minimum.

Another highlight of the entire SL rim brakes line is the lightweight carbon front hub XH003. Completed is this clincher wheelset by a noble UD surface finish and a DT-Swiss 240 rear hub.
