You can find the available decal kits here: Decal Kit The X-Wheel GravelCarbon Disc 44 wheelsets represent the latest proposal of the Italian Carbon-Ti brand for racing, gravel, and cyclocross bikes. They are handmade and completely customized products realized to fit in the best way to our customer’s bicycle. The new generation rims are tubeless-ready with an extremely wide 23 mm internal channel. They are characterized by a new design with micro-hooks that assure the benefits of the hookless technology as well as the safety of the rims with hooks. The enhanced rim profile has been developed for a better transition of the air flows between rim and tire, improving the aerodynamic efficiency with low drag.
The asymmetrical drilling does not compromise aerodynamics and allows a balanced and optimal spokes tension on both sides for a superior stiffness of the wheels. We recommend using this new generation wheelset with wider tires to get the maximum performance. They allow lower tire pressure and help to ride with more control, smooth and fast, especially over imperfect road conditions. The increased width of the rim also features less tire deflection for reduced rolling resistance. he Gravel and Cyclocross model X-Wheel GravelCarbon Disc 44 Clincher has reinforced rims to withstand the off-road stresses and impact and is assembled with Sapim CX-Ray or similar Alpina spokes.
The hubs, which are still 100% designed and manufactured in Italy, are the latest version of our X-Hub Straight Pull. They are assembled with high-quality SKF sealed bearings, that offer superior smoothness and reliability. It is possible to choose between Center Lock or six holes International Standard, thru or quick-release axle and a compatible freewheel among Shimano HG (10-11-12s), SRAM XDR (12s), Campagnolo (11-12s), or Campagnolo N3W (13s), for for the new Ekar group.
The customization of the wheel does not stop at the choice of type and color of the hub, but we offer the chance (optional) to select the decals kit to apply on the rims. Two different graphics are available each in eight different colors (black, red, blue, white, fluo yellow, silver, acid green, mirror polished (chrome)).
In addition to the conventional 24-month warranty on manufacturing defects, the original owner of Carbon-Ti wheels can take advantage of the “Lifetime Crash Replacement” program. This program covers all potential accidents excluded from the normal warranty and offers the possibility to get back a product with a new rim and spokes at a particularly favorable price.
