The Vision Metron 55 SL Disc Centerlock Wheelset B1 TLR is a high-end wheelset for road bikes designed for maximum performance and aerodynamics. Its 55 mm high full carbon rim offers an excellent balance between aerodynamics and weight, making it an ideal choice for flat stages, sprints, and slightly uphill terrain. Tubeless Ready Clincher compatibility allows riders to benefit from the advantages of tubeless tire systems such as lower rolling resistance and increased puncture protection.

Braking power is transferred via the Centerlock disc brake mount, ensuring consistent and reliable braking performance in all conditions. The P.R.A. (Preload Reduction Assembly) hubs with direct pull spokes optimize the stiffness and weight of the wheelset. Six sealed cartridge bearings (two front, four rear) ensure silky smooth running and a long service life.

The 2:1 aero bladed spokes (21 front, 24 rear) contribute to outstanding aerodynamics and stiffness. Self-locking ABS nipples prevent unwanted loosening of the spokes and ensure consistently high wheel tension. Each wheelset is completely hand-built, ensuring the highest precision and quality.

The freehub body is standardly available for Shimano 10/11-speed or SRAM XDR cassettes, covering the most common drive systems. With a weight of only 1591 g per set, the Vision Metron 55 SL Disc is one of the lightest in its class.
