The Andra rims can be ordered in many different wheel sizes and with the drilling angle for the spoke holes optimized for the hub and application. All Andra rims are built to withstand and carry more load than regular rims and can ideally be used for not only regular e-bikes, but also transport bikes with or without motor support. The widest Andra rim is optimal for use with tyres ranging from 44 to 65 mm. The Andra 40 is perfect for the use on heavy load bikes with or without e-motor support, available as disc and non disc version.

1 reviews for Ryde Andra 40 disc rim with an average rating of 5/5 points.
Tough heavy duty rim Best heavy duty rim you can buy for an E-bike with disc brakes. The Andra 40 might not be for you if you wear out rims with rim brakes, then you want the Andra 30 with the CSS coating but they are thinner and are rated for less weight (130kg vs 180kg). Combine the Andra 40 with a Schwalbe Marathon Plus Tour (which unlike other thinner rims fits & centres easily on the 40) and you'll have the most bomb proof tourer, commuter or E-bike wheel for the money. I have 3 e-bikes, one with rim brakes and CSS Andra 30's, one with Andra 40's and one with an Andra 40 on the front motor wheel and a Halo SAS rim on the rear. I would happily recommend any of these 3 rims but I feel the best combination of strength, width and price is the Andra 40. ★★★★★ NOtotheEU
