  • Splined Carrier (splined sprocket adapter)

    Is required for a conversion from screw to plug-in pinion.

    Every Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 gear hub can be retrofitted with the splined carrier pinion system. All Rohloff sprockets are reversible - always fit a new chain!

    Conversion from screw to plug-in pinion:
    Splined Carrier (Art.-No. 8540) + sprocket = 57mm chainline
    When using a sprocket in combination with a chain tensioner, a longer frame screw and spacers (Art. No. 8257) must be used to adjust the new chain line.

    Gates pinions are asymmetrical. The chain line does not change compared to the bolted version.
