Technologies: Tubeless Ready [TR] Tubeless tires offer numerous advantages when cycling. With lower air pressure, riders benefit not only from better traction but also from reduced rolling resistance compared to tires with tubes. Additionally, using sealant instead of a tube significantly reduces the risk of punctures, as small holes are automatically sealed. In the MTB world, TR tires have long been standard in competition, and they are also gaining popularity on road bikes.
3C MaxxGrip The rubber compound that has made MAXXIS the absolute reference in downhill mountain biking. 3C MaxxGrip delivers maximum grip and outstanding damping properties, ensuring unmatched traction and performance in challenging downhill races.
Wide Trail “Trail/Enduro” The Wide Trail (WT) construction is designed to optimize the tread pattern and tire shape for wider rims, which are commonly used on modern trail and enduro bikes. Unlike traditional tires, which were designed for narrower rims and tend to have a too-square shape on wider rims, WT tires provide significantly improved performance on wider rims. They are specifically optimized for rims with an internal width of about 30mm but also perform excellently on rims with a width between 30mm and 39mm. Tires with a width of 2.40 and 2.50 are marked with the WT logo on the sidewall, while 2.60 wide models, designed for 35mm rims, do not carry this marking but are still part of the WT construction.
