How do you bring extremes closer together to redefine the characteristics completely?
Nothing could be easier.
We are consistently looking for the optimum. And when we get this certain feeling, that something could be better, we improve it. That‘s why we redefined our benchmark. So we focussed, we worked meticolously, we puzzled and we filed - on the design, the weight and the aerodynamics. The result: Even more control while riding and even better charateristics on the brake than ever. So we pushed the limits once again and created a wheel, that is really impressive: It is the best MEILENSTEIN, we have ever built. MEILENSTEIN. Newly defined.
How do you boost the agility of a full-carbon spoked wheel above and beyond any existing classification?
We say: a task to make light of.
Our aim was to make this exclusive spoked wheel even lighter and more rigid, and, at the same time, to consistently improve its braking performance and aerodynamics. A newly devised layered structure allowed us to further optimise the application of fibres and resin. And we developed a completely new hub for the front wheel into the bargain. This allowed us to reduce the weight of the MEILENSTEIN OBERMAYER by a total of 25 grams – while at the same time doubling its rigidity value. For you, this means: even less inert mass, even more cutting-edge technology and thus agility in a completely new dimension. In a nutshell: the lightest and most rigid carbon wheel on the planet.
