After a long phase of development and testing carried out with triathletes and professional cyclists, the new Kalibur was unveiled to the public. The project presents important innovations, some immediately liveable, others that need to be explained. The most obvious changes concern the brake housing and the steering block built into a single monocoque structure for a more direct and precise drive. The brakes, front and rear, have been positioned so as to be even more aerodynamic. The front brake is located on the back of the fork, while the rear brake is now located under the bottom bracket housing. A change that has not penalized the goodness of the braking. The guide block is now fully integrated to guarantee maximum aerodynamics and clean lines. An embellishment in this sense is given by the foldaway closure on which the aero seatpost rests, 2way which allows an inclination of 74-80 °. Important and less visible technical details are represented by the central movement box, redesigned and able to accommodate the BB 386 bottom bracket which characterizes the entire Kuotacycle range. Kalibur is also Di2 Ready.
