3D-Printed Padding The evolution of digital 3D printing has enabled the creation of a new saddle free from the constraints of traditional production methods and materials. The Adaptive saddle padding is crafted by Carbon using revolutionary Digital Light Synthesis technology. This additive manufacturing process utilizes digital ultraviolet light projection, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to produce parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution, and surface finish.
Tailored Zonal Cushioning Carbon technology allows biomechanics and engineers the unprecedented capability to design and manufacture multiple functional zones within the saddle, each tuned separately for specific mechanical properties. These key functional zones are engineered for distinctive cushioning and mechanical response, progressively and seamlessly integrated into the same padding. The result is a 60% reduction in peak pressure, improving weight distribution and enhancing comfort across the entire saddle surface.

Argo for All Roads The Argo saddle’s versatile shape makes it suitable for a variety of bikes and surfaces. Whether on smooth tarmac or technical terrain, Argo is engineered to help riders achieve better posture, offering a more stable position for improved weight distribution. Additionally, the shorter, drop-nose design provides excellent support when adopting a powerful, aerodynamic pedaling position.
Design, Test, Ride To develop the ideal Adaptive comfort zones, extensive studies were conducted on the riding positions and pressure points of both professional cyclists and amateur riders. Testing took place in the fizik labs and on open roads, gravel tracks, and trails. Each development phase involved careful testing, focusing on how pressure patterns vary with different bike geometries, riding positions, and surface types.
Long-Lasting Performance The saddle is exceptionally easy to clean. Even with the dirtiest road muck, gravel dust, or trail spray, simply hose it off with water. Whatever gets in, comes out. The saddle has undergone rigorous testing, simulating accelerated weathering, UV aging, and wear resistance, following strict protocols.
