Deda Superzero Gravel DCR Aluminum Handlebar 16° polish on black Superzero Gravel Alloy is the aluminum handlebar for the gravel racing segment. The first reason to upgrade from a traditional road handlebar to a more specific gravel model is control and stability. Superzero Gravel offers both in one. It is a wider handlebar with outward-bent bar ends that offers more control compared to a standard road version, but is designed for speed. The 16° flare angle at the bar ends provides stability when riding on challenging terrain. Reach and drop have been optimized in the RHM-EVO shape. The handlebar has a reach of 75 mm, like the road version, with a compact 120 mm drop for more comfort and a quick transition from the brake lever to the bar end. The DCR (Deda Internal Cable Routing) system allows full integration of the cables inside the handlebar with any compatible frame, but you can also choose external cable routing. The handlebar is available in 4 different sizes: 40, 42, 44 and 46. The Deda Superzero Gravel DCR aluminum handlebar in the "polish on black" finish is a first-class choice for ambitious gravel racers who value control, stability, and aerodynamic integration. Made from high-quality 6061 aluminum, this handlebar combines robustness with a competitive weight of 320 grams in the 42cm version.
The special RHM-EVO shape (Rapid Hand Movement Evolution) was developed to enable quick hand position changes in challenging gravel terrain. With a reach of 75 mm and a compact drop of 120 mm, it offers an ergonomic position for long rides, aggressive sprints, and technical descents alike. The highlight of this handlebar is its 16-degree flare at the bar ends. This outward bend provides additional stability and control on rough terrain without compromising aerodynamics on fast straights.
Another outstanding feature is the DCR compatibility (Deda Internal Cable Routing). In combination with a matching frame, this system allows for fully internal cable routing, which not only improves the bike's aesthetics but also offers aerodynamic advantages and protects the cables from dirt and damage. Alternatively, the handlebar can also be used with externally routed cables.
The handlebar has a central clamping area of 31.7 mm and is available in four widths: 40, 42, 44, and 46 cm, with the width measured at the brake lever positions. The actual total width at the bar ends is 48, 50, 52, and 54cm respectively due to the flare. In addition, the 90 mm wide clamping area offers ample space for mounting accessories such as GPS mounts or Deda clip-on handlebars like Parabolica and Fastblack2, further enhancing its versatility. The elegant "polish on black" look completes the overall package and makes the Deda Superzero Gravel DCR a highlight on any gravel bike.
