The CeramicSpeed OSPW System has been proven to be the fastest pulley system in the world, and for good reason. No pulley wheel system on the market today provides energy savings starting from 1.6 watts (for SRAM) and 2.4 watts (for Shimano) over standard systems, meaning between 30% and 60%. The energy savings found in our unique 17-tooth OSPW System are a result of sleek design, high-quality materials along with two high precision 17-tooth aluminium pulley wheels that carry CeramicSpeed Bearings.
The system has been in two separate wind tunnels, one in Scandinavia and one in North America. No aero loss has been recorded on the system. In fact, at a certain yaw angle, the system recorded a positive sail effect when running with a certain depth of wheel.The CeramicSpeed OSPW System has been developed primarily for Road but can also be used for cyclecross. The system is not suitable for mountain bike applications. Thanks to the lightweight materials used, the OSPW System weighs approx. 70 g, making the difference between a standard rear derailleur pulley system and the CeramicSpeed OSPW System negligible. The small addition to the weight is not a compromise to your bike performance thanks to the overall capabilities of the system.

Using only the best materials available ensures that the bearings are of the highest quality possible. But what really makes the difference is the knowledge and experience. They’ve been working with ceramic bearings for the cycling industry for more than 15 years. This gives Ceramicspeed a level of know-how and experience which is unique in this field.
All the parts used in the CeramicSpeed Bearings and products are carefully selected from the highest quality suppliers. Every single bearing is hand built in Denmark under laminar flow clean room conditions. They inspect each bearing by hand four times during the building process and check the optimised chains every step of the process to ensure that all parts are matched perfectly.
All components are checked on arrival at CeramicSpeed, where they are approved via a series of checks, which are specific to the component. Amongst other controls, the size of the ceramic balls is checked to within a 1000th of a millimetre.
