- Real High Beam for Dynamo Operation
Available from mid-2024: 300 Lux in low beam mode. With this statement, the new IQ-XL from Busch + Müller surpasses all previous light values by far. The large-area light field illuminates widely, broadly, and homogeneously, but like every street-legal headlight, it has a precise light/dark cut-off line.
Sensor-controlled daytime running light ensures the best visibility. A high-quality, black powder-coated aluminum housing and a newly designed bracket make the IQ-XL a design headlight - now also for dynamo bikes. The high beam handlebar switch lights up green in low beam mode and blue in high beam mode. Mountable on all handlebars and can be combined space-savingly with matching Magura and Tektro brake levers.
The Busch and Müller IQ-XL Highbeam is a revolutionary dynamo headlight that offers maximum large-area road illumination with an impressive 300 Lux in low beam mode. For even better visibility in previously dark areas, it has a high beam mode with an additional 250 Lux that shines further and higher. The low beam reaches its maximum brightness from just 25 km/h, while the high beam is available from as low as 12 km/h and delivers unprecedented brightness, especially in the range below 50 km/h.
The modern IQ2 light technology significantly increases light output and efficiency thanks to a prism. Combined with additional LEDs and electronic control, it enables "dynamic light" adapted to the riding situation. The headlight has an on/off switch, electronic steady light, daytime running light, and sensor-controlled automatic switch-on. A homogeneous light field, near-field and side illumination, as well as a practical handlebar switch with an extendable cable, complete the package. The scope of delivery includes a bracket, double cable, cable duct, and tools. This StVZO-approved aluminum headlight is a powerhouse in elegant black.
