    The Reynolds Assault is an aggressive, all-carbon clincher wheelset with a 46mm deep-V rim, designed to improve the speed of your everyday cycling. It is engineered to withstand severe lateral force, meaning the Assault digs harder, drives faster and hangs tougher than any similar wheelset. Stiff and responsive in any situation, the Assault features a carbon braking surface that ensures braking is smooth and sure.

For 2011 Reynolds improved the layup composition and added our proprietary new CTg braking system to measurably improve stopping performance.     What size tire do you recommend for Reynolds wheels?

    With a Reynolds tubular wheel we suggest nothing less than a 22 mm for the smallest tire. This is because the rim profile for the tire seat is designed around a 22 mm tubular. A smaller tubular may adhere to the rim improperly.
