Brake Force One disc brake

The BrakeForceOnce provides massive brake power thanks to an integrated brake booster unit, which is completely new for a bicycle disc brake.

Due to its brake performance the brake features a padded brake lever for just one finger. The brake force was tested on the independent test bench of Velotech scoring impressive results.

The Brake Force One kit it includes:
Installation ready brake with brake lever and pre-bled hose (front: 900 mm, rear: 1700 mm)

Another advantage of the brake is the large gap between the pads and the rotor. While most competitors have their pads positioned very close to the rotor, the BrakeForceOne pads are relatively far away, which prevents grinding noises caused by dirt and mud.
The braking pads are being actively retracted by a spring while a large piston and a low pressure hydraulic system ensures a fast and powerful pad movement towards the rotor.

Unlike other powerful brakes the superior design of the BrakeForceOnce doesn't require a brake fluid reservoir. The pad wear re-leveling is being adjusted manually via a knurled knob at the brake lever.

Tipp

Hint for breaking-in:
New disc brake pads require a certain break-in period in order to provide the full brake power.
The following procedure has proved oneself: drag braking on a downhill until the brake power noticeably increases. Then let the brake rotor cool out. Afterwards do 20 full stop brakings from a medium speed. Attention: the rotors get very hot, do not touch them!
