Torx screws, contrary to common Allen head screws, allow repeated assembly and disassembly without rounding out the tool seat. To prevent possible damage to the screw head, the wrench must be inserted using sufficient pressure from above. This can only be guaranteed with a T-Grip wrench. The screws can be damaged by using other shaped tools (such as L-wrenchs) as the force is applied to the screw head unevenly.
