Aksium Elite
The Aksium Elite introduces aspiring road riders to many of the performance features that make a Mavic wheel system unique. The rim is updated with a wider 17mm internal width for a smooth ride quality. Straight-pull bladed spokes improve stiffness and strength. And the hubs are built with our QRM bearings and axle system, which is key to the Aksium Elite’s smoothness and durability. Over the years, Aksium Elite has become a popular choice for training. And our 25mm Yksion Elite Guard road tires are also a great choice for training. Made with a 120 TPI casing, they offer the right balance of low rolling resistance and all-round grip that’s perfect for long rides in variable weather and road conditions. They also feature a strong nylon anti-puncture belt, protecting the tread and sidewalls from punctures and side cuts. At 230g (25mm), they are among the lightest all-season tires and a perfect match for the dynamic ride quality of the Aksium Elite.
