Shimano Ultegra / Di2

The new Ultegra group is a high performance component group from Shimano, which can put a smile on the face of every road bike enthusiast. The new version is lighter, even more precise and features many technical solutions from the Shimano Dura-Ace group. Altogether the Ultegra group is very harmonic and durable. Compared to the 6700 series 150 grams were saved, which makes it attractive even for weight weenies.

The new features of the Shimano Ultegra group include:

• Improved ergonomics for the STI levers.
• The new brake pad compound offers 20% more brake power in dry conditions and 100% more power in wet conditions.
The wide link design of the rear derailleur saves weight, increases the stiffness resulting in an even better shifting performance.
• The spring tension of the front derailleur was increased by 10%, leading to smoother chainring changes.

Similar to the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 there's also a Di2 version of the Shimano Ultegra group.
