Continental has optimized the Top CONTACT Winter II further, refining it with a VectranBreaker anti-puncture belt beneath the tread, as well as giving it a foldable bead. This optimizes its weight reducing the rolling resistance thus increasing speed & handling characteristics. With reflective sidewalls for added confidence at night. The tread mixture is directly based on Continental's car snow tires. The tire operates at its best at temperatures between -25° and +7° C. Where other mixtures no longer have any grip, the Top CONTACT Winter II Premium's proven compound and tread pattern intermeshes with snow and cold, wet surfaces very well. Here the tire is even more superior to spiked tires which cannot straighten up on snow and shoveled streets. The reflective tires provide additional safety in the dark winter nights and dusky days. ECO
The tyres with the Continental ECO logo benefit from over 100 years of experience in the development of mopeds and motorcycle tyres. Optimized and recommended for e-bikes at speeds of up to 25 km/h, they guarantee low rolling resistance and good puncture protection with their extra high quality construction. The durability has been studied on e-bikes to prevent early wear and tear due to the additional drive force.

Vectran Breaker
Vectran is spun from Vectra liquid crystal polymer, which results in a thread that is thermoplastic and has multifilaments. This semicrystalline material is harder then aramid, has five times higher tensile strength than steel and in addition, is also lighter than comparable nylon thread. Vectran maintains these attributes even in the most adverse weather conditions.
